Previous Post!

I just posted and I have this long empty space before you can get down to the comments. I don't know how to fix it. So if your going to comment you'll have to scroll down through the empty space to comment. How did that happen? I wish I was smart enough to figure it out!

I forgot this important news. The insurance company came through, finally!!

Thanks for clearing that up. I wondered why there wasn't a comment section on your last post. Glad you finally got the insurance settlement. You need some stress relief and that's a start.

That long empty space on your last post does look weird. Maybe you have some extra code in your post by mistake?

Hey Marla, I am headed to 1982 to take a peak in a minute. First here.
Congratulations. Yes, they were late but you got it! They must have got tired of lying all the time with 'the check's in the mail' to you when you called.

Your empty space -- you have a small one here too.

Get your dashboard up and choose this blog (I don't think you have more than one yet).

Click the 'Edit Posts' option for it. It should open in

When in 'edit posts', pick yesterday's (then do this one while you're hot.) blog and click 'Edit' from the almost left side.

When the blog comes up, it will look like you are composing it and are just about done.

Be sure you are in the compose mode, if not or you aren't sure, click 'Compose.'

Then scroll down to the open place. Do it like a word processor (it is one) and delete the empty spaces. I go line by line from the bottom, and do backspace, backspace, backspace, etc.
Or start at the top of the empty space and do delete, delete, delete, delete, etc.

When you are happy just publish.

While you are there you could do any editing you can think of.

Hope this helped, Dr. Jim.

BTW, if you are trying to post and you don't trust blogger, you could go to HTML before you 'publish' and highlight and copy your writing. Then if Blogger acts up, you haven't lost. Just do a new one (start over) and paste in your written material.
You can do this in the edit process too, I copy a lot just in case I mess up I can recover.
I will even copy this looooonng comment before it 'preview' it and 'publish' it.

Oh yes, I'd paste my comment above to my word processor and follow it step by step for the first few times you do it.
Maybe I should have put numbers on each step?

I have often wondered how people "remembered" in the days before photography...
Sometimes remembering can be a wonderful thing - sometimes forgetting is. Guess it all depends.
How lucky you are to have your children.
