Birthday Boys

I have been really bad about finding time to post and read blogs this month. I hope that I can get caught up over the weekend. I took today off to try to make some contacts once again with my hubby's life insurance. Last I heard they were to mail out the check over a week ago last Wed., haven't got it yet! I have trouble catching up with the guy who is supposed to be handling this. First he said he didn't get information sent last Oct. I had my nephew in law call him, he's an attorney, then we started to hear from the insurance guy. We resent the information again. Then he said he didn't have the death certificate, which was sent in October, so we sent another one. This crap is taking a long time. I just want to be finished with it. I am sharing with you a short photoshow of the Birthday Boys. Cain was 12 on Feb. 17th, he belongs to my oldest son. Jacob was 12 on Jan. 28th, he is Seth's girlfriends son. So I have attended a couple of birthday parites for the boys. Jacob is the darker hair, smaller boy and Cain is the bigger boy. So please check out my newest production Birthday Boys!

Hi Marla!

Praying for intervention with these insurance issues. I know it's hard but try not to let it get to you.

Great video! They look so cute. Happy Birthday Boys!!

That was very clever! Lovely photos.

Keep hassling the insurance company. It's a disgrace what they are doing. Every day they keep the money they get more. Maybe you should start charging them interest!

Saw your previous post, Marla - your house is absolutely beautiful, my favorite kind of architecture and color !! It'd be creepy though to have it on someone's junk mail, taken without your permission.

Hope that the insurance people FINALLY get the life insurance check to you - a lot of nerve of them to be holding back and playing games like that.

Glad that the birthday boys had so much fun :)

And thank you for the lovely comments that you leave me. I know I am very lucky to be able to experiece what I do. Thank you for your generous and kind spirit to say and mean the sweet things you do, despite things being tough for you right now. I really appreciate it.

Hope you are having a good weekend.

Marla,

Happy Birthday to Cain and Jacob. It looks like they had a terrific time.

I'm so sorry the insurance company is pulling this one you. Make sure that all correspondence you send is registered mail so they have to sign to get it. Then, get your lawyer to phone them and tell them that the party is over and the check better be forthcoming.

Having become a widow at a young age and being a mother for 17 years made me aware of all the excuses that are made by insurance companies and the government when they owe you money. You have to take a firm stand, my friend.

Praying that the check will arrive soon.

Blessings,
Mary

Hello Marla
Thank you for popping in and for your really lovely comments recently when I was feeling down.
Many people in our bushfire areas are getting the runaround from insurance companies. Its just not fair that you don't have their support when you need it.
Take care
Cathy

Hi Marla, I'm glad you have someone helping you with insurance deal. It sounds suspicious doesn't it.
The photo shows were great. Handsome family for sure.

Guess I did something wrong - could not get any pictures - just a big black square.
I had to get an attorney, too when my husband died to get the insurance straightened out. Took 2 years and sending stuff over and over again. Then they tried to tell me the policy was only worth $2,000.
Lawyer time. Isn't it a shame?
Dontcha wonder how these guys can sleep at night knowing they cheated some widow out of money?
Glad you have a lawyer in the family.

Hey Marla, I had to laugh at your comment on my blog. Did you not see how boring my life was in those pictures?? LOL!

Have a great week!!

Marla, I think those insurance companies just hope you are going to forget about the money....Yeah, right! It is a good think that you know a lawyer to help you out with this.... Just remember: The squeaky wheel gets the grease.

The boys are adorable... Happy Birthday to both of them.

Grrr .... Those insurance companies. The money only goes one way. It seems these games are their specialty. I hope you prevail soon. I'll pray for you. Now I'm off the see those photos.
