The Blues!

I really have the Blues tonight! I only have two days left in my current job with a group of people that I will be so sad to leave! My team is the best group of people that I have ever had the privelage to work with. I have always believed or heard that you shouldn't get to close to those you may have to fire! But I can't help it, I love these people and they really are great friends! I will begin a new journey on Monday. I am staying with the same agency, the same position that I currently have, just taking over a different area program. I am leaving a strong team of managers and a successful program and taking over a program that has had issues. One of the supervisors there will be moving into the position of Area Director. I know they all work together so well that the transistion will go well there. I will be using some of my team to come in to do some training and help me out in my new adventure. This has been an emotional roller coaster for me and I dread these last two days. I know I will be crying by the end of the day on Friday!!

Marla, I have no doubt your team will be just as sad to see you go as you are to leave them. You'll build new friendships and another strong team in your new position. Blessings!

The good part is that you'll have some of your team there to help you with the training. I know it's tough saying goodbye to good people. I still miss the folks from the publishing company. We were like family! Come to think of it, we still are...and we still get together.

Best of luck on your new adventure. I'll be praying for all goes well for you.

It's so hard to leave good friends behind. Try to concentrate on what is coming. (Easier said than done, I know) But there really is always a new adventure around the corner. I will say a prayer for your leaving, and for your new beginning.

Best wishes for your next programme.

They'll be sad to see you go and you will be sad too, but you've had a great time together and that's priceless.

I hate changing work places. I make the best of where ever I am though and I am sure you will too. Best of luck to you.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.

It's not easy to leave people you care about behind and start a new adventure. I totally understand the mixed feelings. I hope that new position will be a blessing to you and the new people you will get to work with.

I hope your day wasn't too sad. I know you feel torn about leaving this group of co-workers.
I wish you well in your new position.

It's Friday evening, and I guess your difficult day is over. Now you can take a deep breath, and get ready to meet your new job head-on come Monday. Just want to wish you well. I know you'll do fine.

BYW you mentioned you don't know how old I am. It's 76. And, as I've mentioned before, wisdom does not necessarily come with age. I don't think I'm particularly wise. Just picked up a few things along the way.
